Prof. George Achulike Obiozor has been elected the 10th President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo following an election held at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri, Imo State.
He will replace Chief John Nnia Nwodo who has been President since 2017.
Prof. Obiozor, a Professor of Political Science, is a native of Awo-Omamma in Imo state.
He was former Nigeria Ambassador to USA, Israel and Cyprus.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo is a socio-cultural organization that represents every Igbo speaking community, and protects the rights and interests of the Igbo people around the world.
