The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the issuing of call-up letters for potential corps members participating in the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II program.

The scheme announced this on Monday on its X account, adding, “2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II deployment has been released.”

The development follows the recent release of the timetable for the next orientation exercise.

According to a statement signed by its spokesperson, Caroline Embu, the NYSC confirmed that the orientation course will commence nationwide on April 22.

“The Orientation Course will commence with reception and registration of Prospective Corps Members on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026, and end at midnight on Friday, 24th April 2026,” the statement read.

The swearing-in ceremony has been set for April 24, while the full orientation program will run through May 12.

The Corp also urged prospective corps members to take safety precautions while travelling to their camps, particularly discouraging late-night journeys.

“Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it’s 6.00 pm… and continue the following morning,” it stated.

Prospective corps members are advised to access their call-up letters through the NYSC portals.
