    NSCDC arrest man for molesting 9 years old boy

    Ishaku Lawal, a 23-year-old man, has been arresting by men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa for molesting a 9-years-old boy.

    Public Relations Officer of the NSCDC, CSC Adamu Shehu, disclosed this in a statement signed by him on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

    According to the statement, the victim’s father revealed that his daughter, the victim’s elder sister, informed him that the suspect had sexually molested her brother.

    The statement partly read, “Upon questioning, the boy stated that he was taken to an isolated place in the evening while he was playing alongside his friends by the suspect who removed his trousers and had canal knowledge of him, and thereafter urged him not to tell anyone and promised to buy him sweets, a promise which he failed to fulfill and which made him expose the incident to his sister.

    “Meanwhile, medical examinations conducted at Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) at General Hospital Dutse shows repeated rectal penetrations and bruises in the anal area.

    “Suspect has confessed to the crime and will be charged to court of competent jurisdiction to expedite justice.”
