Whitney “Nomy” Chukwu has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Season 11 ‘Show Ya Sef’ house for repeatedly defying Big Brother’s instructions.
Nomy’s disqualification was declared on Monday after she persistently refused to obey instructions about a punishment given during a Head of House challenge.
Big Brother Naija announced the development on its official Instagram page, saying it has removed Nomy’s right to participate in the reality show.
“Nomy (@_officialnomy) has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Show Ya Sef house following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions.
“Big Brother revoked her privilege to participate in the game and gave her 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the house.”
Nomy’s disqualification comes after she was given a strike and final warning for continuously disobeying Big Brother’s directives.
She had previously been reprimanded for failing to obey the ‘benchwarmer’ attire directive after her performance in a Head of House challenge.
Big Brother had warned her that further infractions could result in terrible penalties.
The recent development ends Nomy’s stay in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house, limiting the number of housemates still in the competition.
Nomy, the actual name Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, is a 26-year-old fashion entrepreneur and the founder of Ambition by Witme.
She entered the BBNaija Season 11 house in July 2026 and instantly gained popularity for her outspoken demeanor, confidence, and fashion sense.
Her time in the house, however, was marred by several arguments with Big Brother about following directions.
Nomy’s disqualification means he will no longer be able to play in the game or compete for the season’s grand prize.
