The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 416 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Monday.
The 416 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 10578.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 115 patients from isolation centers across the country with 12 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 192 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 5135.
Edo state reported 41 new cases while Rivers recorded 33, Kaduna 30 and Kwara state 23.
Other states are Nasarawa-18, Borno-17, FCT-14, Oyo-10, Katsina-7, Abia-5, Delta-5, Adamawa-4, Kano-4, Imo-3, Ondo-3, Benue-2, Bauchi-2, Ogun-2 and Niger-1.
NCDC reports that there are 10578 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 3122 discharged and 299 deaths.
