President Bola Tinubu will depart Nigeria on Tuesday to attend the inauguration of President Cyril Ramaphosa in Pretoria, South Africa.
This was announced in a press release on Monday by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President, Media & Publicity.
Tinubu, who is currently in Lagos State for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, will depart the state to attend the inauguration.
The inauguration of President Ramaphosa follows his re-election as president for a second term.
South Africa’s parliament re-elected Cyril Ramaphosa as the country’s president following a landmark coalition deal between the governing African National Congress (ANC) and opposition parties.
The new government of national unity combines Ramaphosa’s ANC, the centre-right Democratic Alliance (DA), and smaller parties.
