A man fell to his death while climbing from a corridor window to the balcony of his 5th-floor apartment in Nicosia, according to Kibris Postasi (a daily newspaper in Northern Cyprus), in the early hours of Friday.
According to the Police Press Officer, 30-year-old Plangji Yilyov Balkum, who had lost his key, fell 18 metres to the ground from the 5th floor after losing his balance while attempting to access his apartment by climbing through the corridor window at 2 a.m. yesterday.
Until the time of his death, the deceased, an indigene of Plateau State, Nigeria, who had gone to Northern Cyprus for academic purposes, was working in the country after rounding up his academic pursuit.
