Nathaniel Bassey, a popular gospel musician and pastor, has given a harsh warning to married men who indulge in covert relationships with young women, saying such actions will result in grave consequences.

Bassey issued the warning during a recent church service, which went viral on Wednesday, when he chastised married men who identify themselves as single and indulge in sexual encounters outside of their marriages.

According to the cleric, any married guy who deceives young women, conceals his marital status, and transports them to hotels under false pretenses would meet severe consequences this year.

He cautioned that such guys might not “come out alive” if they continued the deed and that their shame would be publicized and remembered for a long time.

“If you’re a married man and you go about deceiving young girls, leading them on. Some even go as far as sleeping with them. I place a demand on the grace of God upon my life. If you try it this year, you won’t survive.

“Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be on social media. If you take a woman to a hotel and lie, meanwhile being married, you will not come out from that hotel. If you like, take what I’m saying jokingly.

The gospel minister also warned women who knowingly engage in relationships with married men, especially for financial gain, gifts, or material benefits.

“You too; you are a lady. If you know that the man is married, you know in your heart that he is married, but because of greed, because of attention, because of Brazilian wigs, and because of Brazilian hair, you want to carry the bag. If you try it, you won’t survive it,” he said.
