Napoli’s  coach, Luciano Spalleti, has declared that his technical crew is committed to bringing out the best in Victor Osimhen.

The coach stated this after  his team trounced Perugia 4-1 in a pre-season match on Sunday.

Spalletti, who took charge of the team last season after former coach Gennaro Gatusso’s exit, stated Osimhen is  still very much in his books and he is keen to help unleash his best potentials, he also stressed the need for Osimhen to work on his weaknesses .

It should be recalled that the Nigerian international signed for the Napoli in 2020 for a club record fee of 70 million Euros.  And so far, the 23 years old striker has bagged 18 goals and 6 assists in 32 appearances for the club.

In recent times, many rumours have been linked to Victor Osimhem’s move from Napoli, with clubs such as Arsenal and Bayern indicating interest in the young lad. However, it still remains unclear if he will be signing for another club anytime soon.

Another season of the Italian Serie A is billed to commence August 15th, and all eyes will be on Osimhen to supersede his last season scoring stats.
