Elon Musk stated in a social media post that his proposed cage battle with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be live-streamed on the social media network X, previously known as Twitter.

Since June, the social media moguls have been encouraging each other to compete in a mixed martial arts cage bout in Las Vegas.

“The fight between Zucker and Musk will be live-streamed on X.” “All proceeds will be donated to veteran charities,” Musk stated in a post on X early Sunday morning, without providing any additional specifics.

Musk had earlier claimed on X that he was “lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight,” adding that he didn’t have time to work out so he brought the weights to work.

When a user on X asked Musk what the goal of the conflict was, Musk said, “It’s a civilized form of war.” Men adore war.”

Meta did not react to a request for comment on Musk’s article from newsmen.

The controversy began when Musk stated in a June 20 post that he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, who is a jiu-jitsu practitioner.

A day later, Zuckerberg, 39, who has posted pictures of wins on his company’s Instagram platform, asked Musk, 51, to “send location” for the proposed fight, to which Musk replied, “Vegas Octagon,” referring to an events centre where MMA championship bouts are held.

Musk then stated that if the cage battle went forward, he would begin training.
