Nigerians have reacted to the possible voluntary exit from Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 by housemate Wanni Danbaki.

Wanni revealed plans to voluntarily exit the reality TV show during a conversation with fellow BBNaija contestants Ozee, Ocee, Onyeka, and Sooj on Thursday.

The housemate hinted at leaving on Sunday, citing her hip injury from a recent rehearsal as a potential reason.

She said, “I’m leaving on Sunday. It’s even easy for me. I can just say, Big Brother, this hip injury is getting to me; I can’t do this anymore.”

Wanni’s fellow housemates, Ozee, Ocee, Onyeka, and Sooj, discouraged her against making hasty decisions after she revealed her plans to leave the program willingly.

Their advice comes at a critical time, as Wanni faces eviction this week.

Wanni has been struggling with personal issues, especially since her boyfriend, Shaun, and twin sister, Handi, were evicted last Sunday.

However, mixed reactions have trailed the news of her plans to exit the show.

While many Nigerians attribute her plan for voluntary exit to the return of evicted housemate Rhuthee, whom she and her twin sister Handi had a fallout with, many urged her to leave so another contestant, Kellyrae, will cruise to victory.

Chronicle NG highlights below the reactions of Nigerians to her planned voluntary exit.

Ogechi Achunye, ”The fear of Rhuthee and disqualification is the beginning of wisdom. Waist pain indeed. So the pain started immediately when Rhuthee returned to the house?”

Edwin Anthony, ”BBNaija is against her; that’s what I see, so she’s right.”

Ugochi: “The fear of Rhuthee is the beginning of wisdom, and her twin is not there to join her while Shaun is not there to calm her and say don’t speak to her.”

Augusta Chizoba, ”If she does, it will give another person a chance to stand with Kelly. The money is married.”

Ugochi Udeigwe, ”I love Wanni. Please, she shouldn’t get involved in fights with evicted housemates because they have nothing to lose. A fearful person lasts longer than a fighter. They won the fight. Wanni will win the prize by the grace of God.”

Debbie Gabz, ”The show is typically against you, baby. Let’s go make our money outside the house. They can’t bring these rascals back just to torture you more. Failed career housemates, for that matter.”

Brian Tubey, “Wait, first you have to witness Kelly winning the show. Be patient”

Trendyz Bulletin, “Wanni is deceiving them. She knows she’s winning this show. She’s not going to give it to Kelly on a platter of gold. Never!”

Mumaijay, “Wanni has given up on herself. If only she knew the army behind her.”
