Moses Itauma, a British-Nigerian boxer, knocked out Dillian Whyte in the first round of their heavyweight bout.

The 20-year-old boxer defeated the 37-year-old veteran fighter barely two minutes into their fight, which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

Itauma did not allow Whyte to settle as soon as the ring went, and he quickly turned the 17 years difference between the boxers into an advantage for himself.

A wild jab sent Whyte to the ropes early, and with Itauma, noticing that his opponent looked hurt, further unleashed a flurry of punches that sent the older boxer to the mat.

Whyte struggled to recover from the knockdown, forcing the referee to call the match.

Itauma was born in Slovakia to a native mother and a Nigerian father. The family then moved to the UK in 2008.

He has been touted as the future of British boxing after winning all 13 of his professional fights and 11 of them by knockout.

The boxer currently holds the WBA International and WBO Intercontinental heavyweight titles. He also has the Commonwealth heavyweight title.
