Manchester City will meet Liverpool in a thrilling FA Cup quarterfinal, while Arsenal will go to Southampton in their pursuit of a fourth title.
Monday’s last-eight draw also gave Chelsea a home tie against League One giant-killers Port Vale, who surprised Sunderland with a 1-0 win in the fifth round on Sunday.
West Ham or Brentford, who play on Monday, will host Leeds in the other quarterfinal.
However, City’s most recent clash with rivals Liverpool is the round’s standout fixture.
Pep Guardiola’s side has already defeated Liverpool twice this season, 3-0 in Manchester in November and 2-1 at Anfield in February.
It will be the first FA Cup match between the clubs since Liverpool’s 3-2 victory in the semi-finals in 2022.
Liverpool, who defeated Wolves 3-1 in the last 16, has won the FA Cup eight times, the most recent being four years ago.
Seven-time winners City, who defeated Newcastle 3-1 in the fifth round, last won the title in 2023.
Premier League leaders Arsenal advanced to the quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory against third-tier Mansfield.
Mikel Arteta’s side will face Championship playoff contenders Southampton, who shocked Fulham 1-0 in the fifth round.
