A social media user, Ajebo Danny, has berated members of the Christ Embassy Church over the fire outbreak that engulfed the church on Sunday.
Chronicle NG reports that an inferno engulfed the headquarters of Christ Embassy Church, located in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State.
Several videos on X have also captured the massive edifice in flames.
The fire that broke out in the early hours of Sunday caused significant damage to the church property, sending shock waves throughout the immediate community and beyond.
Reacting to the fire incident, Danny, in a statement on X on Sunday, said, “So the thunder they prayed to strike me struck one of their churches instead?
“What God cannot do does not exist. Heaven doesn’t have a fire extinguisher, apparently.”
He, however, hoped no life was lost as a result of the fire incident.
“I really hope every human made it out alive, because if you die there, they will only open another branch and others will sow seeds and the ministry continues,” he added.
