A Nigerian law graduate simply identified as Moe has taken to Twitter to narrate her ordeal at the hands of a Nigerian lecturer over a missing exam script.

Calling them “insane”, Moe narrated how she risked failing to go to law school as a result of the carelessness of her lecturer.

In the now viral post, Moe stated that “I was in my final year, and even if I was a top performer, I risked an extra year because of that one exam.”

Recounting how she went to the lecturer’s office every day in tears”, Moe stated that “the man carelessly dumped my script elsewhere and claimed my script was missing”.

Moe said, Nigerian lecturers are insane. Results came out for a course; mine was marked ‘missing’.

“I went to see the lecturer, and he said he did not see my script. I was in my final year, and even if I was a top performer, I risked an extra year because of that one exam. So I was desperate. An extra year also meant I wouldn’t be able to go to law school with my peers.

“I went to his office every day in tears. One day, he pointed to a pile of exam papers and asked me to check there for my script. I went through almost 200 scripts and finally found mine. It wasn’t even in the pile in my class.

“This man carelessly dumped my script somewhere else and claimed my script was missing.

An exam I actually sat for”.

Speaking further, she disclosed how the alleged lecturer reduced her grade in the exam over his inadequacies.

She said, “From my exam scores, I had an A in that course (if you add what I got in continuous assessment). That’s how this man said he could not give me the A. How does he explain a student going from missing a script to an A?

“I was like, dude, it is right there; I had an A.

“He said he would think about it.

When the official results came out, this man gave me a C in that course. That singular action brought my GPA down from 4.0ish to 3.something. (It’s still a 2.1 anyway). They are actually insane.

“Also, I was going to be the only person who would have gotten an A in that course, but he said he couldn’t have that.

“I hope he is well and okay wherever he is”.
