    Labour Party (LP) on Friday sacked Abayomi Oluwafemi Arabambi as its national publicity secretary for anti-party activities.

    Announcing the sack of Arabambi and the dissolution of the Labour Party executives in Ogun state, Umar Farouk, National Secretary, said the decision was made after an investigation by a committee set up by the party.

    He explained that the dissolution of the executives of Ogun State chapter of the party for alleged anti-party activities.

    According to him, a disciplinary committee was constituted to investigate the spokesman’s anti-party activities as a member of the LP.

    Chronicle NG reports that the Ogun State chairman Michael Ashade and the party’s secretary Feyisola Michael had sacked Doyin Okupe, the Labour Party Director General and 11 others for refusing to pay their membership dues in the last six months, despite numerous notice.

    The chairman said others expelled along with Okupe are Abayomi Collins, Hon. Abel Olaleye, Jagun Lookman, Olori Oluwabukola Soyoye, Mr. Gbadebo Fesomade, (former State Treasurer), Mr. Abdulmalik Olaleye (former State Youth Leader), Mr. Jide Amusan( former State Publicity Secretary); Mr. Adeshina Wasiu Shojobi (former Assistant State Youth Leader); Miss Deborah Adewale (former Senatorial Women Leader Ogun East) and Mr. Olatunde Abolade (former Assistant State Secretary).

    Ashade accused Okupe of polarising Labour Party in Ogun State, claiming that he is using only using LP to revive his political and financial career.
