Alvaro Morata has given his permission for a move to Serie A giants Juventus for a third time.

The Italian giants have been working on a deal for Romelu Lukaku and has reopened talks with Chelsea for a £38.5 million deal that may see Dusan Vlahovic leave.

However, Calciomercato.com reports that, while the Belgian remains the Old Lady’s first objective, Morata – who played for the club from 2014 to 2016 and subsequently from 2020 to 2022 – has been identified as a feasible option.

Juventus is said to have already received a ‘yes’ from the Atletico Madrid striker for another reunion.

Morata has scored the most goals for Juventus, with 59 in 185 games during two periods. During his first term, the 30-year-old star won two Serie A titles and was a member of the group headed by Massimiliano Allegri that reached the Champions League final in 2015.

Allegri believes he has a striker in Morata who can produce in his system, even if he is past his prime. Last season, the Spanish international scored 15 goals in 45 appearances for Atletico Madrid, who ended 11 points behind eventual La Liga champions Barcelona.
