    Jimi Agbaje, deputy lose polling units, as Fashola delivers

    The Peoples Democratic Party candidate in Lagos, Jimi Agbaje has lost the governorship and State House of Assembly vote at his polling unit.

    Mr. Agbaje who voted in Lagos Central, Apapa LGA, PU 004 could only garner 23 votes to APC’s 170 votes.

    In the State House of Assembly, PDP managed 66 votes while the All Progressives Congress polled 73 votes.

    As at the time of this report, the governorship results were still being collated by the Presiding Officer of INEC.

    His deputy, Mrs. Haleemat Busari also lost at her polling unit in both the governorship and State House of Assembly election.

    Mrs. Busari who voted at Adekunle Unit 21 Ward D lost by 23 votes to APC’s 90 votes. In the State Assembly election, PDP polled 21 while the APC got 88 votes.

    Elsewhere, former Lagos governor, Babatunde Fashola delivered his polling unit in emphatic fashion.

    Mr. Fashola, who is the Minister of Power, Works and Housing helped the APC win Unit 002 Ward G3, Surulere, Lagos by 235 votes to PDP’s 50.
