Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stark warning to major United States technology firms operating across the Middle East, declaring them potential military targets amid escalating regional tensions.

In a statement released via the IRGC-linked Tasnim news agency, the military body named about 20 companies it claims are involved in intelligence, surveillance, and targeting operations. Those listed include Boeing, Tesla, Meta, HP, Microsoft, Google and Apple.

The IRGC alleged that American ICT and artificial intelligence firms play a central role in identifying and tracking targets, warning that such institutions are now considered “legitimate military targets”.

Employees and civilians living near facilities linked to the companies were urged to evacuate immediately.

According to the statement, attacks could begin from 8pm local time on Wednesday if Iranian leaders continue to be killed in what Tehran describes as “targeted assassinations”.

The threat follows a sharp escalation in hostilities between Iran and Israel. The Israel Defense Forces said it carried out more than 230 airstrikes across Iran within 24 hours, describing the campaign as an effort to weaken Iran’s military capabilities.

Iran has consistently accused Israel and the United States of targeting civilian infrastructure, further deepening the crisis.

In recent weeks, Tehran also warned it could strike US and Israeli-linked academic institutions after attacks on the Isfahan University of Technology and the Iran University of Science and Technology.

The latest warning signals a widening battlefield that could extend beyond military installations to commercial and technological assets, raising fears of broader regional instability.
