Paris St-Germain returned to the top of Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory at Brest, thanks to an Achraf Hakimi double and a late Desire Doue goal.
Hakimi opened the scoring with his first goal of the season, latching onto Vitinha’s lofted through ball.
The fullback then doubled his and his team’s lead just before halftime, shooting home from a tight angle inside the area.
Brest had a chance to cut the gap after the break when they were granted a penalty for handball following a VAR review, but Romain del Castillo blasted it over the bar.
Ousmane Dembele, the Ballon d’Or winner, was taken off the bench for his first league action since August, having recovered from a hamstring injury.
He nearly scored on his return but rocketed over from the edge of the area.
Doue hit the post in stoppage time, but he was not denied, shooting home from within the box with the game’s penultimate kick.
PSG return to Ligue 1 action on Wednesday, travelling to Lorient (18:00 GMT).
