Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour, the candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 governorship election in Lagos State, has been described as an enemy of the state.

In a statement on X, a man simply identified as Abdulrasheed noted that Gbadebo should be extradited out of Lagos State for the peace and well-being of the state.

The Labour Party chieftain has, in recent times, come under severe criticism from Lagosians over his comment on the recently inaugurated Lagos Red Line Rail project.

Reacting to a statement by the former Labour Party flag bearer in the past election, Abdulrasheed alleged that “this guy will at some point in time cause chaos in Lagos.”

Gbadebo, during an interview with the Honest Bunch Podcast on Tuesday, stated that no one can question his degree in Lagos State.

“You can’t question my pedigree in Lagos; the city hall is built on my family land,” he stated.

Furthermore, he berated the prevalent godfatherism in the state’s politics when he alleged that President Bola Tinubu is the sole person who determines who becomes governor of the state.

Reacting to Gbadebo’s claims, Abdulrasheed stated that “this guy will, at some point in time, cause chaos in Lagos. Saros and their counterparts from the dark side of the country never liked Lagos. The earlier he is extricated from Lagos, the better for the peace and well-being of the state.”

Also reacting to Gbadebo’s statement, Akin Adejola blamed him for allegedly being the cause of his loss in the 2023 Lagos state election.

“He is the harbinger of his misfortunes; so many things he put out on social media to defame his ‘Yorubaness’, his disrespect towards Yoruba leaders, labeling Yorubas as Afonjas, and his support for Biafra led to it.

“He gave credence to why most Yorubas believe he is not worthy to lead,” Adejola wrote.
