Former Miss Taraba Comfort Williams has died, the management of Prime Planet Event Managers announced.
The organization, which runs the Mr. and Miss Taraba pageant, revealed her death in a condolence statement released on Monday, calling her a former beauty queen and her assistant managing director.
“This heartbreaking loss has left us deeply devastated. She was not merely a member of our organization but a vital part of the Prime Planet family, and her presence, contributions, and memories will remain in our hearts forever,” the statement said.
The condolence statement was posted on Facebook on Monday by Disebe Donga, CEO of Prime Planet Event Managers.
Williams, crowned the 10th Miss Taraba in 2023, was named Assistant Managing Director in January 2026, when Prime Planet unveiled a new seven-member leadership team known as Team 7.
In that announcement, the organization named Tabitha Adda as Managing Director, Williams as Assistant Managing Director, and Leah Lot Mangbon as Head of Contestants.
Williams held the title of the 10th Miss Taraba.
In October 2024, she visited Senator Manu Haruna at the National Assembly in Abuja alongside other Taraba pageant winners.
Prime Planet Event Managers, the organizer of the Mr. and Miss Taraba pageant, described Williams as an important member of its team and offered its condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones.
“You will always remain part of the Prime Planet family. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten,” it said.
The organization did not reveal the circumstances of her death.
