Law Lee, an acquaintance of controversial singer Naira Marley, has made a damning remark about the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Mohbad died at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, and the circumstances surrounding his death sparked debate on social media.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Law Lee declared his contempt for Mohbad.
His statement came after Portable chastised Zinoleesky on social media for purchasing a Ferrari despite not having a hit single.
He claims that his hatred for the late singer grows with each passing day, even after he has died.
He explained that Mohbad’s alleged critical remarks about fellow artist Oniyide Azeez as Zinoleesky sparked a public fight with him on social media by another contentious musician, Habeeb Okikiola, nicknamed Portable.
He further added that if the late singer had not made disparaging words about Zinoleesky, Portable would not have taken such action.
He wrote, “Every day, my hatred for Mohbad keeps increasing, even after his death. If not for all those miscaps about Zino, why does this @portablebaeby get mind dey sub am? Fool.”
Mohbad, a former record label signee of Marlian Music, founded by Naira Marley, quit the label in February 2022.
On September 18, 2023, the Lagos State Police Command formed a 13-man special investigation team to look into the singer’s death.
An investigation into his death also led to the arrests of Naira Marley and controversial Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, commonly known as Sam Larry, among others.
Prior to their arrest, the duo attracted criticism for allegedly mistreating the ‘Omo Ghetto’ crooner until his death in September 2023.
