Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufai, has declared that Nigerians are ready to vote out the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and its defecting governors, insisting that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will lead a new political wave.

Speaking at the launch of the ADC National Contact and Mobilisation Office in Plateau State, el-Rufai said the public mood clearly shows that citizens have lost faith in the current leadership.

“I know everybody is tired of the APC and PDP. Everybody is looking up to the ADC to save Nigeria,” he said. “Governors are defecting from PDP to APC. By God’s grace, 230 million Nigerians will defeat 25 governors.”

He described the ADC as a platform for young people and women, promising that between 2027 and 2031 the party would groom a new generation of leaders to hand over to.

El-Rufai added that the ADC would rally behind credible candidates, champion sound policies, and bring integrity and ethical leadership back into governance.
