Davido, the award-winning Nigerian singer, has revealed that he has over 400 unreleased songs in his catalogue.
In a recent episode of the Uncut Podcast, the ‘With You’ singer disclosed that he has so many songs that he has not put out and both listeners and fans have never listened to.
He also added that some of the songs in ‘Oriade’, his recently released album, was initially recorded for ‘Timeless’, his fourth studio album.
“Songs that you people haven’t heard? It is up to 400. In my whole career, I have so many songs that never came out,” he said.
“I have so many songs. Like even a song on this album, I recorded it for ‘Timeless’. I recorded ‘Constantly’ for ‘Timeless’.”
Davido rose to fame in 2012 after releasing ‘Dami Duro,’ the second single from his debut album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’.
He has established a name for himself as one of Africa’s leading artistes as well as one of the Afrobeats ‘Big Three’.
He has also released four other albums, including ‘A Good Time’ (2019), ‘A Better Time‘ (2020), ‘Timeless’ (2023) and ‘5ive’ (2025).
He also founded the record label DMW in 2016.
