Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he does not know who Big Brother Naija winner Phyna is while apologizing for “mistakenly” liking a tweet that berated the reality TV star.
The OBO singer, who is currently trending on X, liked a tweet that asked why people adore certain celebs, with Phyna notably highlighted.
The Twitter user by the username @47kasz tweeted, ”There are some particular celebrities you’d like Stan, and I will profile, judge, and conclude you are useless because you are standing Phyna?’’
Shortly after Davido‘s social media reaction to the tweet went viral, Phyna turned to her X page to ask the musician what she had done wrong to deserve the vitriol.
“Wetin i do @davido? Na wah oh, the hate is real. Congratulations on your twins, sha.” Phyna tweeted.
In response to Phyna’s tweet, the ‘unavailable’ crooner stated that he had no idea who she was and that his reaction was an honest mistake.
Davido wrote, ‘’Thank you, love, but I actually don’t know who you are, and it was an honest mistake, no vex.’’
