Davido, the award-winning Nigerian singer, is set to release ‘5ive’, his highly anticipated fifth studio album, in March.

The release date was confirmed via the pre-save link the singer shared on his social media pages.

‘5ive’ is scheduled to be released on March 14.

The announcement comes after the releases of ‘Awuke‘ featuring YG Marley and ‘Funds‘, two tracks from the upcoming body of work, in 2024.

In December, the 32-year-old Afrobeats star revealed that his upcoming album is “my story, my truth and my growth”.

“My people. The journey continues in 2025 with my new album ‘5IVE’. This is straight from the heart — my story, my truth and my growth,” he said.

Born David Adeleke, Davido rose to fame in 2012 after releasing ‘Dami Duro’, the second single from his debut album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’.

Since his debut album, he has delivered three other projects including ‘A Good Time’ (2019), ‘A Better Time‘ (2020), and ‘Timeless’ (2023).

Davido is also the founder of DMW, a record label established in April 2016. The music label has served as home to a plethora of music talents.

With several awards to his name, Davido has solidified himself as one of the leading artistes in Africa.
