Popular Instagram celebrity Pascal Okechukwu, popularly called Cubana Chief Priest, has warned attendees not to spray the naira as they attend the wedding of David Adeleke (Davido) and Chioma Rowland on Tuesday.

Cubana who was recently accused of mutilating the naira, pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The socialite was arraigned at the Federal High Court, Lagos, before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on Wednesday.

The anti-graft commission filed a three-count charge against a Cubana chief priest accused of abusing the naira at a social event, an act said to be contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

After  Cubana pleaded not guilty, the court granted him bail in the sum of ₦10 million with two responsible sureties in like sum who must be gainfully employed with the federal or state government and not less than grade level 16.

However, when he was arraigned in court before Justice Kehinde Ogundare, Cubana and the EFCC agreed to settle the case out of court.

The close alley to Davido advised guests to avoid mutilating the naira as they attend the wedding of the Afrobeats star.

Cubana, in a statement on X on Tuesday, wrote, “Thank you God as my case is struck out. CP, the defendant is convicted and discharged.

“Thank you, EFCC, and my legal team, headed by Chikaosolu Ojukwu (SAN).

“Now, Nigeria, let’s get straight to the venue for #Chivido2024 with much composure and steeze.

“Please do not mutilate the naira. If there is a need, better do it in dollars.”
