The legal team of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has testified that Cassie Ventura, the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, “maintained contact with him” after they split.

Ventura, the prosecution’s star witness, took the stand earlier this week in the high-profile sex trafficking trial, delivering disturbing testimony about her past relationship with the rapper.

She testified that Diddy coerced her into participating in drug-fueled “freak off” sex parties that left her with recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs) and mouth sores.

However, Diddy’s legal team argued that she was a willing participant in the parties, while showing an alleged 2009 text message of the singer telling the rapper she “was already for a freak off” in court.

During Friday’s cross-examination, Anna Estevao, Diddy’s attorney, presented a series of text messages allegedly exchanged between Ventura and Combs after their 2018 split.

Cassie testified that the last time she had sex with the rapper was on September 27, 2018 after which she accused him of raping her following a breakup dinner.

However, the defense countered her, suggesting she continued an emotional connection with him while dating Alex Fine, a personal trainer she married in September 2019.

In one message dated October 2018, Diddy reportedly told Cassie he was going to “fall back” but she could call him when she needed him.

Cassie allegedly responded in part, “I’m lost without you”.

In another text, Diddy told Cassie she was his “ride or die always” and one of the “greatest women in the world”.

Cassie supposedly replied to Diddy that the message “blew my mind a bit” and told him “I don’t hate you. I never have”.

Another text allegedly sent by Cassie read: “I wouldn’t be at the beautiful point in my life if I hadn’t been with you”.

She also said that the last time she saw Diddy was in November 2018 at a memorial service in Georgia for Kim Porter.

The cross-examination ended after the defense showed a final exchange of messages between the former lovers from 2012.

In the messages, Diddy was said to have asked Cassie if she wanted to have a freak off for the “last time”.

She allegedly replied that she wanted to have a freak-off for the “first time” … “for the rest of our lives”.
