Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly called Bobrisky, has threatened to end his life amid the ongoing investigation into his alleged N15 million bribe to operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

In a statement on his verified Instagram page on Thursday, Bobrisky, who had recently been involved in a bribery scandal, alleged that “people” are trying to “bring him down.”

The controversial crossdresser has been accused of giving a bribe to EFCC operatives to jettison money laundering charges against him, an allegation the EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyode, has ordered an investigation into.

Chronicle NG reported that controversial Nigerian social media influencer Vincent Itse, popularly called VeryDarkMan, alleged in a now viral video that Bobrisky gave operatives of the EFCC N15 million in order for his money laundering charges to be dropped.

However, the crossdresser has outrightly denied the allegations while noting that he served his six-month jail time for abusing the naira.

In a new twist on Thursday, Bobrisky mentioned that the bribery scandal is making him contemplate suicide.

“I have never in my life thought about suicide, but now it is coming to my head,” he said.

“Seeing what humans are doing to their fellow human just to bring them down just in the name of bring them down by force or because you do not like them,” he added.

The crossdresser, who stated that he does not require public sympathy, adds, “I do not need sympathy from anyone. People I might have needed sympathy from are my late parents.

“But who will fight for you? Friends? Haters, you won.”
