BBNaijas10: Faith's disqualification sparks heated reactions from Nigerians

Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Faith Adewale has been disqualified from the show following a physical altercation with fellow contestant Sultana.

The incident occurred during a skincare task rehearsal, where Faith dragged a basket containing group materials, causing Sultana to fall and sustain injuries.

Biggie, the show’s organizer, summoned an emergency meeting in the main lounge, where Faith, a medical doctor, was found guilty of violating the show’s rules on violence and disrespect. As a result, Faith was instructed to leave the house with immediate effect.

His disqualification marks one of the most dramatic moments in the season so far, and it’s expected to significantly alter the dynamics of the competition.

The remaining contestants will now face new challenges and opportunities for interaction, all while being monitored by Biggie and the show’s production team.

His disqualification has sparked mixed reactions from fans, with some expressing shock and disappointment, while others felt it was a necessary consequence for his actions.

Below are some of the reactions of Nigerians to his disqualification as seen on social media:

Jokotade, “The most disturbing part of Faith’s disqualification is that no housemate is pitying him. Not a single housemate.”

Joe, “Faith’s disqualification was inevitable. The man got away with too much over the past few weeks.”

Eva Doosh, “Faith Adewale’s disqualification was timely. What he did to Sultana is inexcusable. Sultana bothers no one. She’s the most peaceful housemate that avoids physical confrontation. To think she’s even bleeding from the attack makes me really sad.”

Edeck Krugirl, ”Let him go and work on his brain.”

Abigail, “Now we’re going to suffer from his fans who will say that if it wasn’t for the disqualification, he would have won. Big brother call him and disqualified him again. That wasn’t too loud.”

Aregbeshola Feyishayo, ”His village people really followed him. His fans can see the truth now.”

Veroh Romooki, “He thought he was the assistant big brother, that one! Something is not right with him upstairs.”

Blessing Eze: “And his silly fans said he didn’t do anything to Sultana in the morning, that he just collected the bucket and she fell. ”

Dudu Moatswi, “Faith’s disqualification is 10/10. I am the happiest living creature on earth today.”

Uchefuna Hermony, “Faith has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija competition. His fans should set up a GoFundMe to buy him a house and car as tradition demands. The show goes on.”

Okoye Constance, ”Short people with anger issues. Since yesterday the thing has just been pushing him. The moment he climbed on top of the kitchen table, I knew something was wrong.”

Queen Imem, ”I’m so devastated right now that I keep asking myself, Faith, why? Why all the stress, all the ability, strength, time, tears, and most especially intelligence gone?

“Oh God, I actually love all of them because they all have their uniqueness, and they always make me glue myself to the TV, but I love him most because of his intelligence, but he actually threw everything in the mud because of his pride.

“Talking carelessly about your mom on several occasions on national TV was a no for me.

“Believe me or not, this is actually the result. No matter how your parents treat or treated you, don’t talk bad about them for bringing you to this beautiful world; it’s enough.

“You didn’t even make your dad proud, and your sisters lost faith. What a fall because of pride.

“Anyway, it’s not over until it’s over. I wish you good luck, and I believe the lesson is clearly learned. Good luck, doctor.”
