MultiChoice has confirmed the premiere of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 reunion show, set to air from June 23 at 10pm. The highly anticipated special will broadcast exclusively on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family.

In an official Instagram post, the organisers dropped a teaser photo featuring a mix of familiar housemates alongside the ever-charismatic Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who returns as host.

Fans were promised a reunion brimming with “new energy and drama,” as unresolved tensions and fiery emotions are set to reignite among the former housemates.

Dubbed the “No Loose Guard” season, BBNaija Season 9 introduced a twist where contestants auditioned and entered the house as duos, later unpairing to compete individually. The format sparked intense strategies and shifting alliances, keeping viewers glued throughout the season.

The season concluded with Kellyrae emerging as the ultimate winner, walking away with the ₦100 million grand prize. His victory also etched his name in BBNaija history as the first married contestant to win the show.

As anticipation builds for the reunion, fans can expect explosive face-offs, unresolved grudges, and shocking revelations as the housemates come together once more under the spotlight.

Meanwhile, preparations for BBNaija Season 10 are already underway. Unlike previous years, the organisers reinstated physical auditions, which were held between May 16 and 18, hinting at a potential return to classic dynamics and raw in-person talent discovery.
