Bayern Munich overturned a deficit to defeat Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena, claiming the German Bundesliga title for the 35th time.
The Bavarians, who have only lost once throughout the season, required just a point to secure the title after their closest rivals Borussia Dortmund fell to a loss at Hoffenheim on Saturday night.
However, Stuttgart, seeking a spot in next season’s Champions League, looked to disrupt the celebration when Chris Fuhrich beautifully curled in a goal after 21 minutes.
The hosts answered via Raphael Guerreiro a decade later, then on-loan Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson – filling in for Harry Kane – gave them the lead two minutes thereafter.
Alphonso Davies netted a third goal nine minutes before halftime, skillfully flicking the ball past Alexander Nubel from the box following a pass from Luis Diaz.
Substituting for Jamal Musiala at the break, Kane needed just seven minutes to score his 32nd league goal of the season, making it a fourth goal. Meanwhile, Chema Andres netted a late consolation for the visitors in the 88th minute.
The win secures a 13th Bundesliga championship in the last 14 seasons for Bayern and maintains their aspirations for a treble, with semi-finals against Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal and Paris St-Germain in the Champions League later this month
