Bayern Munich set up a Champions League semi-final date with PSG after they came out on top of a seven-goal thriller against Real Madrid.
Five goals were scored in a frantic first half of a quarter-final second-leg thriller before the game devolved into a tactical fight after the interval, with both teams reducing the pace.
It appeared that extra time would be required to decide the conclusion, but Real Madrid substitute Eduardo Camavinga was shown a second yellow card for time-wasting after a foul on Harry Kane four minutes from time.
With a minute remaining, Luis Diaz struck a crucial blow with his 24th goal of the season.
The former Liverpool forward played a one-two with Jamal Musiala before curling a shot into the top corner after a small deflection.
Real had led three times, but Kane netted his 50th goal of the season as Bayern, who led 2-1 in the first leg, replied each time.
They assured there would be no comeback from the 15-time European champions when Michael Olise curled in a fourth in extra time to record a 4-3 win on the night and a 6-4 victory on aggregate.
