Barcelona is set to meet Lyon in the Women’s Champions League final for the fourth occasion in seven years following a 4-2 victory in the semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp.

Following a 1-1 tie in the initial leg, goals from Salma Paralluelo and captain Alexia Putellas around Linda Dallman’s equalizer set Barca on the path to a sixth consecutive Champions League final.

Goals from Ewa Pajor and Putellas after the break, followed by a consolation goal from Pernille Harder, secured a 5-3 aggregate win in front of a sold-out crowd exceeding 60,000.

In a hectic first half that saw three goals in nine minutes, Paralluelo connected with Caroline Graham Hansen’s cross at the back post to give Barca the lead.

Bayern leveled when Harder surged ahead on the counter before assisting Dallmanto, who scored with a first-time shot.

Barca regained their lead with Putellas, who scored from within the penalty area following Vanessa Gilles’ unsuccessful clearance.

Pajor met Paralluelo’s cross from the left, and Putellas brilliantly volleyed it in after Esmee Brugts’ header from a set piece.

Harder took advantage of weak defending to score for Bayern, then substitute Arianna Caruso had a shot saved onto the crossbar by Barcelona goalie Catalina Coll, and Dallman struck the bar shortly after.

Harder scored again in stoppage time, but the goal was ruled out due to a foul in the lead-up.

Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmati, who has won the last three Ballons d’Or, was substituted in during the second half, marking her first match since sustaining a broken leg in November.
