Two Premier League players have been arrested in relation to an alleged rape. The pair, both aged 19, were released on bail after being interrogated by police. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has withdrawn its petition to the Court of Appeals, Abuja Division, against the temporary order preventing it from detaining Yahaya Bello, the immediate past Governor of Kogi State. Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force, Delta State Command have apprehended a three-man armed robbery gang that specializes in car snatching and recovered twelve vehicles.
