No fewer than 30 travellers, including some students of the Federal Polytechnic in Nasarawa, were reportedly abducted by suspected kidnappers along the Abuja-Nasarawa Highway on Friday. Troops from Operation Whirl Punch killed five bandits in the Dantarau general area of Kajuru Local Government Area in Kaduna State.  The troops were on a battle patrol in the Kachia-Kajuru area when they came across the vicious bandits. Nigerians have criticised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, following the arrest of no fewer than 127 nightclub goers and the assault of ladies during a raid by operatives of the Commission.  The EFCC raided two nightclubs in Akure, Ondo State, and arrested 127 people suspected of online fraud.
