The Federal Capital Territory Police Command said it had launched an investigation into the murder of a crossdresser popularly called “Abuja Area Mama,” whose corpse was discovered on the roadside in Abuja. The Kaduna State Security Council has relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on August 4, 2024, after reviewing the state’s security condition.
