The Lagos State Government has issued an alert over an impending structure collapse at the Mopol 20 Barracks in Onigbongbo, Ikeja. This comes as the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency prepares to commence an emergency evacuation and demolition of the old Block 3 portion of the barracks. The Osun State Police Command announced Wednesday that seven individuals had been arrested for selling human parts and water used to bathe corpses in the state.  According to a statement signed by Mr. Emmanuel Giwa-Alade, the acting Police Public Relations Officer for the Osun State Police Command, the suspects apprehended were two mortuary attendants, Johnson Daniel, 43, and Adetunji Okunade, 42. The United States (US) magistrate judge, Robyn Tarnofsky, has ordered American rapper Sean Combs, popularly called Diddy, to be remanded in prison, pending trial in his federal sex trafficking case. A joint team of officials from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Borno State Ministry of Health discovered many derelict warehouses in Maiduguri’s Gamboru neighbourhood containing pharmaceuticals worth millions of naira.  The warehouses, located in remote and dangerous areas, were utilised to store pharmaceuticals damaged by recent floods. No fewer than thirty-five people suffered mostly minor injuries when two passenger trains crashed in the Czech capital of Prague on Wednesday morning, rescuers and rail companies said. An attacker stabbed and wounded a pupil at a Japanese school in Shenzhen, southern China, according to a Chinese official.  This is the second such attack near Japanese educational facilities in recent months. Instagram has introduced ‘teen accounts,’ a new tool designed to improve the safety of the platform’s users under the age of 18. Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, announced the news in a blog post on Tuesday.
