NYSC corps: Non-release of funds delay payment of N77,000 corps members’ new allowance - DG

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, has stated that the recent increase in corps members’ allowances has not been implemented due to the non-release of funds. Chronicle NG reports that the Federal Government had approved an increase in corps members’ monthly allowance from N33,000 to N77,000, effective from July 2024. Police arrest pastor seen flogging unclad children in viral video
