President Bola Tinubu has bestowed a posthumous national honour on the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja.  During the late Army Chief’s burial service in Abuja on Friday, Tinubu declared that Lagbaja would receive the Commander of the Federal Republic honour. Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Edo State Governor, has approved Gani Audu’s appointment as Chief of Staff.  According to a statement issued on Friday by the Secretary to State Government, Musa Ikhilor, Audu’s appointment is intended to spur genuine reforms throughout the state.
