Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has stated her satisfaction with the findings of the Anambra State Government’s Committee over the JAMB score saga between Miss. Ejekeme Joy Mmesoma and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Prof. Charles Soludo’s eight-member panel, which was set up to investigate the controversies that arose over the results claimed by Miss. Two suspected fraudsters have been arraigned by the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged $268,000 fraud. This was made known on Friday, July 7, 2023, in a statement signed by Wilson Uwujaren, head of media and publicity at the EFCC. The Lagos State Taskforce has reiterated its commitment to checkmate the activities of motorbike (populary known as okada) operators who have deviced new means of operating on the highways and restricted routes across the metropolis. The executive Governor of Taraba State, Gov. Agbu Kefas, declared free education in all the state’s government primary and secondary institutions beginning with the next academic session.
