Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa, has been released from the custody of the Department of State Service, DSS. President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday appointed Yahaya Bello as the Nasarawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has condemned, in totality, the “unprovoked” attack on its operatives by staff and students of the Federal College of Forestry, Idi-shin Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State. A Magistrate Court sitting in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State has sentenced 26 people to community service for indiscriminate dumping of waste in different parts of the state.
