Algeria condemns dozens to death over lynching Ismail

According to the state news agency, a court in Algeria has condemned 49 people to death for killing a man who was wrongly accused of setting forest fires last year. The State Security Services (SSS), on Thursday, withdrew a suit filed at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court to detain the former terrorists’ negotiator, Tukur Mamu, for 60 more days after his arrest. Jos NTA motor park gutted fire

A section of a popular motor park in Jos, better known as NTA park was on Wednesday night gutted by fire. The fire which started around 7:30 pm was said to have lasted for several hours before it was eventually put off by men of the fire service. The Court of Appeal in Abuja affirmed the conviction of Faisal, the son of Abdulrasheed Maina, the incarcerated ex-Chairman of the disbanded Pension Reform Taskforce Team (PRTT), for conspiracy and money laundering. Gun found in impounded vehicle

A gun (Pump Action Rifle) has been found inside an unregistered vehicle (Honda) impounded for driving against traffic in Lagos, the state Traffic Management Authority has said.
