Renaissance completes SPDC acquisition deal

Shell will pay 15 million euros ($15.9 million) to communities in Nigeria that have been affected by multiple oil pipeline leaks in the Niger Delta, the oil company said on Friday in a joint statement with the Dutch chapter of Friends of the Earth. Two UN Nigerian fallen peacekeepers killed in Mali will be transported to their country after a memorial service by UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). Protest: 4,200 policemen deployed in FCT

Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Dingyadi says the Federal Commitment has recruited more policemen to enhance security and safety nationwide.
