Obidient movement denies involvement in #EndSARS protest

Nine #Endsars protesters arrested and detained in Oyo Agodi Prison since 2020 regained their freedom on Tuesday. The ‘Oyo9’ whose names are: Adeshina Muyiwa, Ikechuckwu Eze, Ariyo Sodiq, Ikenna Amaechi, Oyewole Olumide, Ariyo Afeez, Taoreed Abiodun, Adekunle Moruf, and Rasheed Tiamiyu. They were charged with offenses ranging from murder to stealing police rifles and setting the police station ablaze, among others, in connection to the 2020 protest against the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit of the Nigeria Force. NDLEA intercepts drugs hidden in snails, others meant for UK, US, DRC

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confirmed that armed men shot at its officials at Awolowo Road, Ikoyi area of Lagos State. In a phone call with our correspondent, the agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, stated that the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, while the operatives were trying to intercept a truck carrying cannabis. Commuters plying Iju Road in the Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State have lamented the gridlock at Fagba Junction along the road, they blame LASTMA for negligence. The Rivers State Police Command has said its operatives smashed a child trafficking syndicate and arrested four suspects in Igwuruta and Omagwa, Obio/Akpor, and Ikwerre local government areas of the state.
