The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction of one Asaolu Femi Richard, an interior decorator from Iloffa in Oke-ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, and two others for offences bordering on cybercrime in Kwara State High Court. The Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has approved a 114 percent increase package in the salaries of elected politicians, including the President, vice president, governors, lawmakers, and judicial and public office holders. RMAFC is saddled with the responsibility of determining the remuneration appropriate for political officeholders, including the President, Vice President, Governors, Deputy Governors, Ministers, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Legislators, and the holders of the offices mentioned in Sections 84 and 124 of this Constitution. The Ondo state Police have arrested a nurse, health assistant, and security guard at the Comprehensive Health Centre over a missing placenta. According to the report, the incident happened at the Comprehensive Health Centre at Emure-IIe, Owo Local Government Area. The state police command, led by SP Olufunmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, disclosed that about three persons, including the nurse, were on duty. Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, an Ekiti chef, has solicited Nigerians for financial assistance in hiring military personnel as bodyguards. The 22-year-old girl requested assistance from her supporters in a viral online video. In the video, the Ekiti chef begged viewers to evaluate all of the circumstances behind her request. Abba Kabir, Governor of Kano State, has approved the reinstatement of Barr. Muhyi Magaji as Chairman of the Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) to complete his tenure.
