Microsoft to sack 6,000 employees

Chinese state-linked hackers have secretly accessed email accounts at around 25 organizations, including U.S. government accounts, in a stealthy cyberespionage campaign since May, Microsoft and U.S. officials said on Wednesday. The United States detected a breach of federal government accounts “fairly rapidly” and managed to prevent further breaches, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” programme. Terrorist kill five soldiers, police officer in Zamfara ambush

Zamfara State Police Command has confirmed the killing of four Policemen by terrorists along the Gusau-Bungudu road. A spokesman for the Command, Yazid Abubakar, said in a statement that the security personnel were ambushed by the terrorists while on a stop-and-search Patrol along the road.
