Nigeria’s Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has indicted Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited and Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) for alleged misleading trade descriptions and unfair marketing tactics in their products, using ‘Original Taste, less Sugar’. FCCPC disclosed this in a statement released on Thursday. The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) has charged its operatives to conduct themselves professionally while discharging their duties, especially while handling arms to avoid accidental discharge during protests. The Yobe State Commandant of NSCDC, Adamu Idris Zakari, gave the charge while briefing newsmen on the planned nationwide demonstration shortly after a meeting with officers of the command in Damaturu.
