The Socio-Economic Rights And Accountability Project (SERAP) has given the federal government a 48-hour ultimatum to reverse the ban on Eedris Abdulkareem’s song ‘Tell Your Papa’ or face litigation. The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) cited the song’s violation of public decency standards on broadcast platforms. In a statement via X, SERAP warned that if the federal government failed to lift the ban, it will take the matter to court. “The Tinubu administration must immediately reverse the unlawful…

Ten-man Rangers produced a heroic performance to retain a fighting chance of Europa League progression, with Liam Kelly’s late penalty save decisive in earning an unlikely draw with Athletic Bilbao. The Spanish side arrived in Glasgow as favourites with Rangers under pressure off the back of a record five consecutive defeats at home. Their cause seemed doomed when Robin Propper was adjudged to have brought down Inaki Williams. After a video assistant referee (VAR) intervention, as last man, his yellow card turned red after just 13 minutes. Rangers, though, held firm – and survived a number of scares – before…
Tottenham Hotspur were unable to find a winning goal as they were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final against Eintracht Frankfurt, with the result extending their unbeaten home run in Europe to 19 matches. This was the first European knockout meeting between these two sides since the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1982, in which Tottenham won the first leg 2-0 at home. That scoreline wasn’t going to be repeated here, however, as Frankfurt broke the deadlock with their first attack of the match inside six minutes. James Maddison was…

The merger strengthens Italy’s hand in a luxury industry led by French conglomerates, the biggest being Louis Vuitton owner.
